African Christian Teaching Services (Uganda)
COFFEE MORNING On Saturday 5th July in St Cuthbert`s Church Hall from 10.30am-12 noon.
This event is being held to raise funds for the above.(to help towards both school equipment and food as the area, in common with other parts of Africa, is suffering from drought).

Churches together in North Meols
Our next meeting will be on Tuesday 8th July at 8.00pm in Marshside Methodist Church Lounge. The meeting will be lead by St Patrick`s Marshside.

THE LEPROSY MISSION
On 12th July this year the Mission is having it`s Annual Sponsored Walk across Morecambe Bay.
The walk will begin at Hest Bank, with a guide, and a bus will return everyone to Hest Bank after completion of the walk. A tractor team also meets walkers half-way across for anyone who wishes to ride across the River Kent Estuary instead of taking to the water.

MERCY SHIPS
AT the 10.30am service on Sunday 13th July, we shall be handing over our toiletry bags to Mrs Denise Roberts, a representative of Mercy Ships. This completes our `Harvest Project` for 2007/8.
Your generosity has been wonderful and thank you very much indeed for this: Mercy Ships and the work they do is quite remarkable and as a church we have been proud and pleased to support it.

We resume our weekly meetings on Tuesday 2nd September at 2.00pm in the Annexe. New members are very welcome to join us.

MEN`S SUPPER CLUB
Our first meeting of the new year will be on Friday 5th September at Falkland Road Bowls Club, where the club championship will as usual be hotly contended.

The next Attic Sale will be on Saturday 6th September in the Church Hall from 9.30am-1.00pm.
Why don`t you come and join us for a delicious Bacon Barm during the morning or the cooked Lunch we serve mid-day?

LINE DANCING
Yes St Cuthbert`s are getting with it! We are having a Line Dance Evening at the Banks Community Centre on Friday 12th September.
Will everybody with two left feet (like myself)
please join us, and we will have a very enjoyable evening. If you would just like to watch that`s no problem, because you can have a good laugh. All proceeds go to the Church Building Fund.

HERITAGE OPEN DAYS 2008
St Cuthbert`s will once again be taking part in Heritage Open Days. The Church will be open on
Thursday Friday Saturday- 11th 12th & 13th September from 11am to 4.30pm and on Sunday 14th September from 12noon to 4.30pm. (See Page 5 Visit St Cuthbert`s)
