SUNDAY CLUB
ROSE QUEEN FESTIVAL & SUMMER FAIR On Sunday 15th June at 2.30pm in the grounds of Meols Hall.
Our parade commences from the Parochial Church Hall at 2.00pm followed by the Crowning Ceremony in the grounds of Meols Hall at 2.30pm. The theme for the parade this year is the Beijing Olympics (I am sure we will have lots of fun with this). This year we have extended our tented village even more in the grounds of Meols Hall, so come rain or shine there will be plenty of cover.
There is so much going on for all the family to enjoy.

WE are now having our Summer Break, and I wish all our members a very happy holiday. Our first meeting of the new year will be on Friday 5th September at Falkland Road Bowls Club, where the club championship will as usual be hotly contended.

The end of our Mothers`Union season of meetings is fast approaching and the Committee would like to wish all our members, both those who attend the afternoon meetings and those who attend the evening meetings, a happy and peaceful summer break.
We have been invited to support Ormskirk Deanery who are holding a Summer Tea on Saturday 7th June from 2pm-4pm in Rainford Parish Hall.

Irene and Sue have once again very kindly agreed to arrange a Treasure Hunt which will be on Thursday 19 June. All members who are keen to take part in this event, please let Chris know as soon as possible so that arrangements can be made for our supper which will be at a surprise venue!
